1. I just discovered this amazing (OLD) comic, Mark Trail. It’s about a photojournalist and outdoor magazine writer whose assignments lead him into danger and adventure. His assignments inevitably lead him to discover environmental misdeeds, most often solved with a crushing right cross (source: Wikipedia).
Anyways, it is FANTASTIC.  I like them even better out of sequence and out of context.  The art is nostalgic, the writing is melodramatic, and the situations are a bit bizarre… even needlessly violent sometimes.  But someone’s got to stand up for the environment, I guess.
